I hope you are enjoying the Christmas season, however that looks for you.

We have decked our halls and I adore the glow of the Christmas lights and the fire in the evenings…it’s cozy and so very comforting. These two are my entire world and this picture just makes my heart melt!

Life Lately

We are in the Christmas spirit over here!

Last weekend, hubby and I went on a date to a German Christmas market downtown St. Paul that took place at Union Depot. You guys. It was SO CROWDED! Like..I felt like I was a cattle being pushed through a teeny tiny gate the whole time.

But look how pretty the ceiling is! It’s very art deco type design and it’s super neat.

However, the highlight for us was seeing this antique steam train that was called ‘The North Pole Express’. It was SO cool!! Look how big it is…I look like an ant standing in front of it!

Lastly, the lakes have started to freeze over now that it’s December. We took a magical sunset walk the other evening and captured this beautiful scene over our favorite lake.

Favorite Weekly Shopping Finds

I just purchased these pretty blue taper candles to use on my Advent wreath.
Tilly loves this cozy dog bed! It was an early Christmas present 🙂
It’s so hard to find aluminum free baking powder but this one is the best I’ve found.
I am using these black hooks to hang our Christmas stockings from on the fireplace.
This rolling pin is perfect for Christmas baking!
These cooling racks help keep Christmas cookies intact after baking.
