Journey Jots #59
Hello guys and happy Sunday!
How was your week? Are your halls all decked out for Christmas? Do you have any good news to share? I love to know what’s going on in your world so let me know in the comments.
Life Lately
It was a much quieter week after the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving!
This time of the year is still so busy with end of the year work deadlines, holiday activities, and family functions. But, we still try and get outside as much as possible with Tilly!
I’ve been making a concerted effort to slow down and savor the season, though. It’s so important to practice mindfulness, especially this time of the year when life moves so fast.
For me, this looks like doing my morning stretches, a quiet moment of prayer over a cup of coffee, or time spent sitting in front of the Christmas tree.
Tilly loves to sit in front of the fire, too 🙂
She’s been doing this since puppyhood and just loves the warmth of the fireplace on a chilly evening.
