Journey Jots #37
Hello, guys! Welcome to another Jots and a brand new week!
Hope you had a lovely long weekend and were able to celebrate the 4th of July with a bang!
We spent the afternoon at my sister’s having a BBQ and then watched the fireworks over a lake near our house. It was super fun!
Life Lately
The Minnesota river finally crested this week…thank the Lord! It was getting SO high and flooded. We took Tilly on a walk at a park on the river last week to check out the water level. So crazy!
That same park has cows, sheep, pigs, and chickens. Tilly LOVES peeking in at the cows!
It’s just SUCH a beautiful place to walk with all of these giant oak trees and old, historic homes. This little area in the middle of the park has the cutest white gazebo!
We also did another fun bike adventure last weekend and rode 30 miles on a really cool gravel trail! It was the most perfect morning for a ride!

In case you haven’t heard the news yet, I WROTE AN E-BOOK! My very first e-book, ‘An Introduction to: Antique and Vintage Home Decor’, was released early last week and I couldn’t be more excited about it. It’s been two years in the making!
The e-book is a 32 page, downloadable PDF file that you will receive in your email upon purchase. In it, you will find tips for sourcing, pricing, and styling decor from milk glass to copper to linens. I do hope you check it out!
Also, in case you forgot, there is new TAJ merch in the shop section of my website. You will find super cute t-shirts, mugs, and even an iPhone case designed by yours truly.
Each purchase means the world to me and helps me to continue writing weekly content. Thank you for supporting my small business!
