Hello, guys! Happy New Year and welcome to 2024!

I hope this year is off to a great start and you are enjoying the calmness that comes after the holiday season.

I want to thank you for all of your concern, thoughts and well wishes after I shared last week’s jots! I’m happy to report that my niece is all back to her happy self and hubby and I are slowly feeling better each day.

Life Lately

Curious how we rang in the new year? Well, like this!

We cozied in to a fire, made baked chicken in the air fryer, and watched some good shows. I fell asleep at 20 minutes to midnight. Did your New Years’ Eve look the same?!

My sweet niece Molly is moving ALL over the place. She gets around by either rolling over and over or scooting.

She’s going to be crawling before we know it!

We’ve luckily been feeling well enough now to continue our daily walks with Tilly.

Some of you know what hubby and I are bike into biking and we usually can be on the bike trainer inside all Winter but, with recovering from Covid, these walks have been our saving grace in terms of exercise!

There is a tiny amount of snow on the ground now which is super pretty.

And, I’ve been painting my closet! This project started over a month ago but, with Christmas and then being sick, I just didn’t have the time.

But! Now I do. It’s hard to tell from the photo but it’s like a dark green blue color…very moody. I’m digging it. It’s amazing what paint can do to improve a space!
