Today I’m sharing 5 of my favorite clean health and beauty products!

Over the past few years, I’ve been on a quest to find natural beauty products that work with my skin. It hasn’t been easy and it’s been a lot of trial and error but I’ve finally found a handful of brands that flow beautifully with my body. These are products that I use each and every day as part of my daily routine.

As a woman in my mid 30’s, I hope that these products resonate with you because I know how difficult it is to find things that truly work. Join me as I share 5 favorite clean health and beauty products!

Hello, guys! As you can see, I’m trying something a bit different in this post. The Antiqued Journey community is growing in such an amazing way and I’m so, so grateful. This platform allows me to share things, besides home decor, such as daily living ideas, to help encourage and uplift.

Every few months, I like to write about things that I use on a daily basis that help me to be the best version of myself. The products that I have chosen not only work but they are at a medium-ranged price point and not super expensive.

Yes, they cost more than a regular body lotion or deodorant but I’m okay spending a few more dollars each month knowing that I’m doing good to my body.

Today, I wanted to share my experiences with these natural health and beauty products and how they have transformed my daily life for the better. None of these products are sponsored although I do have a coupon code for one of them. I’m merely sharing life things from my heart. Let’s get into it!

5 Favorite Clean Health and Beauty Products

Burt’s Bees Skincare

The first brand on the list is Burt’s Bees! This company has been around for years and makes the most amazing beauty products.

I have extremely sensitive skin and this is the only face wash I have tried that doesn’t make me break out or create a worsening facial situation, if you know what I mean!

Each day, I use their face wash and daily face lotion for sensitive skin. What works for me is to use the face lotion twice a day, so once in the morning and once before bed and the face wash I only use once a day. I’ve actually used both of these products for years and we’re still going strong!

Pacifica Makeup

Okay, ladies. We’ve all struggled in the makeup department, am I right?! Gosh it’s SO hard! When I was in my twenties, I just used whatever makeup was cheap because I didn’t have any money.

However, once I hit my thirties, my skin started to change and I needed more substantial makeup for daily wear. Luckily, Andrea from the blog Pine and Prospect Home introduced me to the Pacifica makeup brand around the exact time I was looking!

You guys. I swear by this makeup. It feels so good on my skin and isn’t cake-y or clumpy. It’s smooth, clean and smells super fresh.

Pacifica is affordable, free of chemicals and can be found readily at many stores. This brand is a total beauty game-changer. If you are in the market for clean makeup or just want something different, I highly recommend it!

Native Deodorant

Another area I’ve struggled with in years past is my under arms. Again, my skin is super sensitive and that area of my body is ultra sensitive.

Years ago, my mom had a bout with an early form of breast cancer which puts me at a higher risk for developing it later in life. So, to do my part in reducing that risk as much as possible, I decided to rid my home of any skin product that contained aluminum.

I tried various natural deodorant brands that simply didn’t work. At the same time, I found that the baking soda in many of those natural formulas was causing rashes in my armpits.

Enter Native deodorant. This stuff is a life-saver. Truly. The formula from this brand that I settled on is the sensitive skin version which is also aluminum free and baking soda free. It’s the only scent that works for me and I simply love it.

If you don’t have sensitive skin, Native has many lovely scents in their line that you can try out and find the one that is best for you!

Alba Botanica Lotion

Dry hands are one of my pet peeves. Much like chapstick, lotion is a much needed necessity throughout the day!

Alba Botanica is another one of my favorite skin care brands. I’ve used their lotion for many years now and it’s just as effective today. My favorite scent is the coconut version but they have other varieties, too.

As far as I can tell, Alba doesn’t change their lotion formula. It’s tried and true and smells so good. The pump bottle is another bonus since I don’t like to open and close caps all day long 🙂

Semaine Health Period Supplements

Let’s be real. PMS and the monthly cycle is just plain dumb. I never had an issue with period things until recently. A few years ago, I started to get insanely awful cramps and mood swings for weeks leading up to my cycle.

I had never heard of Semaine until I happened upon it while searching online. The company is woman owned and they know their stuff when it comes to the anatomy of a female.

You guys. This little green capsule is a miracle and truly life-changing. With these capsules, my period is no longer a sense of angst each month. I take at least two a day, sometimes three, for two-three weeks depending on how I’m feeling.
