Journey Jots #91
Hello, guys! How are ya?! It’s been over a month since we last chatted. We’ve gots lots to catch up on!
How is your fall season going? Have you done anything fun? Thrifted anything neat?
I love hearing from you and learning what’s new in your world. Let me know in the comments!
Life Lately
It’s been quite the busy start to fall but things are FINALLY starting to calm down.
At the beginning of the month, we went to our favorite fly fishing spot for a few days. It was the most glorious fall weekend and, to top it all off, caught some beautiful trout!
We also did some antiquing on the same weekend trip. I found some really good stuff and even visited a brand new antique mall! The mall itself used to be an old roller rink and is quite the vibe!
Tilly has really been enjoying her fun fall walks! The temps are starting to cool down but man, if the mosquitoes would just quit, it would be darn near perfect. Tilly LOVES fall weather…the slight chill in the air is her very favorite.
Miss Molly started her ECFE program a few weeks ago! She’s growing like a weed and has been enjoying playing outside in the beautiful weather!
Weekly Shopping Finds
- I recently purchased this set of flameless candles but the flames actually move and flicker! I LOVE them, especially at night. It’s so pretty and cozy!
- The clock in our bedroom was just not it anymore, so I decided on this wood look clock with amber colored numbers. LOVE!
- If you are looking for a super tasty way to make your morning cup of coffee (or two), the AeroPress coffee press makes, like, coffee shop grade coffee. SO good!
- I’ve always loved Aerie clothing but, especially during fall, their sweatshirts are my go-to.
- I like to refresh the hand towels in the bathrooms about once a year. These olive green towels are so lovely!
