Journey Jots #9
Hello, guys! Happy Saturday! Yes, this a day early because tomorrow is Christmas Eve and I’ll be taking the next few days off.
We’ve made it to Christmas…can you believe it?!
We sadly won’t have a white Christmas this year. In fact, we’ve barely had ANY snow yet and it’s kind of sad! But, we were able to take in this incredible sunset the other evening as we were out walking Tilly!
Life Lately
Last weekend, my family had our annual Christmas cookie baking day.
It’s been a holiday tradition since I was little…we’ve been going at this for at least 33 years! So crazy!
We don’t make as many cookies as we used to but still manage to crank out hundreds in a day!
It was miss Molly’s first cookie baking day and she LOVED it.
She was jabbering in her high chair non-stop!

On the Blog
Last week I shared TWO new posts!
On Tuesday, I rounded up the top 10 thrifting posts of 2023. It’s so amazing to see this community embrace thrifting and think about different ways of living sustainably!
On Thursday, I posted my last Christmas post of the year. This Christmas tablescape guides you through an easy centerpiece idea and table settings for a festive Christmas table!
Coming Up on The Antiqued Journey
This coming week I’ll be closing out 2023 with the last Thrifted Goodies post of the year! Then, coming up, I’ll be sharing a New Year’s post about my thoughts on embracing the present. And, in a few weeks, I’ll show you how to create a DIY Winter cloche, kind of like making a grown-up version of a snow globe.
