Journey Jots #75
Hello, guys! How are you? How was your week?
Welcome to April…the best month out of the whole year! Why? Well, you see, my 38th birthday is less than two weeks away, hubby turns 41 a week after me, and our 13th anniversary is April 27th!! We pack the month full of fun celebrations!
Do you have any fun plans for Easter? I love hearing from you and learning what’s new in your world. Let me know in the comments!
Life Lately
I was able to take my bike out on the road for the first time this season! It’s been oh so cold and WINDY as heck. But, this day, the sun was out and it was a lovely ride after a long work day.
Hubby and I have been training all winter for a bike trip that we are doing in June. It’s a 2 day event…he’s doing the first day, which is roughly 80 miles, and I’m joining him and a bunch of our friends for day 2, which will be about 74 miles. It should be fun and a super great challenge.
Have you ever trained for an athletic event??
Our vet clinic is having a cute pet photo contest…I entered this photo of Tilly and, I mean, how could this precious face not win?!
Miss Molly is getting OH so big!! Her hair is now long enough to be able to do double ponies:) She also now likes to eat her snack out of a neat cup.
Can you believe this precious girl turns 2 next month?! I don’t know where the time has gone.

On the Blog-Journey Jots #75
This past Thursday, I shared a fun new post about how to take a thrifted basket and turn it into a pretty Easter vignette. This is a super easy and versatile decor piece!
For a cute decor piece or Easter table centerpiece, this DIY watering can wreath might be just the thing! I created this using a cheap plastic watering can and some faux florals. It’s SO easy!
And, for yet another affordable Easter decor option that you can make yourself, why not opt for an Easter egg topiary?! I created this decor piece last year and it’s still my very favorite DIY ever. The pastel colors are SO whimsical for the season!
