Journey Jots #41
Hello, guys! Welcome to another Jots and a brand new week!
Can you believe it’s already August?! That’s crazy. How has your summer been? I’d love to know what you’ve been up to in the comments!
Life Lately
My Tilly girl has been having a rough go at it the past few weeks. She has really awful food and seasonal allergies as well as acid reflux and all of them have been acting up as of late. It usually always happens this time of the season. She’s had this since puppyhood and doesn’t know anything different. Yet, I’m still never ready for it when it all flares up…it’s so heartbreaking and makes me so sad. But, thankfully, we have a really amazing vet that has supported us through it all.
So, prayers sent for Tilly to start feeling herself again soon would be so appreciated!
It’s been SO HOT here the past two weeks with temps nearing 100 degrees! Thankfully, as I checked the weather this morning, there is an end in sight soon!
We braved the heat a few days ago and took a shorter bike ride to a neat lake. The shade on the shore was a welcome respite!
Finally, last weekend, we met some of our best friends for dinner. We sat on the patio of an amazing restaurant overlooking Lake Minnetonka, one of the largest lakes in the state! We ate and chatted for over two hours and it was just good for the soul, you know?!
