Journey Jots #35

Hello, guys! Welcome to another Jots and a brand new week!

Happy Summer to you, as well! We are officially into the heart of Summer time and it’s just glorious, don’t ya think?! We’ve been soaking up all the outdoor time that we can get whether that be on the bikes, on the lake, or on the river.

What’s your favorite part of or activity to do during the Summer? I’d love to know in the comments!

Life Lately

Last weekend, hubby and I rode almost 40 miles to Lake Waconia, which is a beautiful lake in a town west of us. It was a very humid morning of biking but always SO worth it when you get to see destinations like this!

Also, the iced coffee and bakery treat at the end were a great reward 🙂

A recent event in our family is that my brother-in-law and his wife adopted a new puppy! His name is Rocky and he’s an almost one year old French Bulldog. He’s SO cute and is the most chill puppy I’ve ever met!

Anyways, they came to town last weekend with him so we brought Tilly over to my in-laws to meet him. They did SO well and played for hours! These 4 little eyes looking at me just melts my heart.

I also did a bit of thrifting last weekend and found some GOOD stuff for such cheap prices! You will see everything, with detailed prices and such, in this week’s thrifted goodies post!

Lastly, miss Molly has been enjoying the summer and playing in her swimming pool! She loves to splash and throw all of the toys out of the pool..cuz why not?! 🙂

On the Blog-Journey Jots #35

This past week, I shared part two of my blue and white Summer home series. In this post, I showcased thrifted and vintage Summer decor for shelving, kitchen, and displaying vintage artwork!

Thank you so much for being here and joining me for journey jots #35! I love sharing a little bit of my daily life with you. Have a lovely week ahead!

Sustainable Living Tip of the Week: Use bar soap in the shower instead of body wash. You will save one plastic bottle from being used that way!
