Journey Jots #13
Hello, guys! I hope everyone is staying warm in this cold snap that many of us are experiencing!
It’s been so brutally cold here in the North…we’re talking -20 below windchill for many days. But! That’s usually how Winter goes….I just bundle up as best I can and keep on 🙂
Given the dangerous temps, we have had to halt our daily Tilly walks because she just get’s way too cold. Here is a pretty snowy scene from a few days before the cold rolled in!
Life Lately
If you remember, last week I shared that we had purchased a new washer and dryer. Well, that closet has come such a long way in a week and looks SO much better than it did!
I put a fresh coat of white paint on the wall and we added deep shelving to accommodate all of our things. I LOVE to do laundry, now! It’s not so much of a task when everything has a space, you know?!
You know I have to share recent photos of miss Molly in Journey Jots #13. This one is just…come on!! Look at those baby blues.
My sister took her to the aquarium at the Mall of America the other day and she was just having the time of her life!
Molly loved looking at all the fishies and sea turtles.
Also, I wanted to let you know that hubby and I are traveling this week. We leave for sunny Florida on Tuesday! I haven’t been on an airplane since Jan of 2020…that’s the last time we were in Florida.
I can’t believe we are actually going…the smell of the salty air and my feet in the ocean is something I’ve looked forward to for so long!
So, due to that, I will be a little quiet on the blog for the next 7 days. But, if you don’t follow me on Instagram, @theantiquedjourney, you should because I’ll be sharing photos and scenes of the ocean over there!
