Journey Jots #76
Hello, guys! How are you? How was your week?
It’s birthday week for me…wahoo!! I turn 38 this Thursday! Even as I get older, I still love celebrating my birthday:) Free coffee, cake, presents…I mean…that’s just plain fun!! I’m planning on doing some thrifting to celebrate!
Do you have any fun plans for Easter? I love hearing from you and learning what’s new in your world. Let me know in the comments!
Life Lately
Gosh life has been SO busy. Between running two businesses, training for our upcoming bike ride, taking care of Tilly, and all the other tasks that life asks of me each week, I’m in need of a vacation. BUT! I wouldn’t trade any of it. All of it is truly a blessing.
Last weekend, hubby and I spent the day at our favorite state park fly fishing! It was a beautiful Spring day filled with warm sunshine and the sounds of bird calls.
I also went thrifting and found some pretty things. I told myself I wasn’t going to buy anymore vintage dishes but here we are…I just can’t help it. Vintage dishes are definitely my weakness!!
Do you have a certain thing that you can never pass up while thrifting or vintage shopping?!
Mother Nature has finally been gifting us with more Spring-like weather. Tilly and I sat outside on a blanket for a while the other day and just soaked up the sun. I definitely got my dose of much needed Vitamin D!

Next, The Good Trade featured my DIY fall leaf garland in their recent article about how to opt out of consumerism. Finally, another writer from the RedFin Blog included an excerpt in an article about multi-generational living.
