Journey Jots #66
Hello, guys!
How are you? How was your week? How have you settled into the new year?
I love hearing from you and learning what’s new in your world. Let me know in the comments!
Life Lately
It was SO much nicer weather wise this past week!
Last Saturday, hubby and I went fly fishing at our favorite state park. It was windy and a little chilly but had a blast. When life feels overwhelming, the river is just the place to go.
I even landed two trout! Usually I never catch trout during the winter months but I was elated to have this guy come tight on my line. So pretty!
We also installed a new light in our bathroom!
Our other light was super old and starting to rust. The new one is SO pretty and has real glass crystal globes! They cast the most amazing light rays and shadows on the walls and ceiling.
We will be installing a medallion around the back of it to cover up the new hardware as well as painting the wall. I’m thinking a light blue…
If you remember, a few weeks ago, I shared with you that I was just starting to paint a paint by number picture.
Below is my progress to date! I only have an hour or so in the evening to work on it each day so it’s taking me awhile but I’m getting closer! Do you know what the picture is yet??
Finally, Miss Molly wants to share her smile with you 🙂
She’s TOTALLY in to play dough and coloring…it’s like all she wants to do all day long. My sister and I both loved art when we were little too so it makes me happy that Molly is interested in it!

I don’t understand the song? How is the rainbow hanging over your head a comfort? Each person was dealing with such trauma in the video. Does the rainbow represent God?
Hi, Jenny!
I like to think so, yes. Everyone interprets songs differently but to me it just makes me realize that it’s all going to be okay! Thanks for stopping by today!
