Journey Jots #25
Hello, guys! Hope you are well.
It’s my birthday week…I’ll be turning 37 on Wednesday!
We’ve had a super fun weekend so far full of all my favorite things…thrifting, coffee, biking, homemade donuts, and my favorite cake. I’m not too much of a cake person but there’s just something about red velvet. We still use my Grandma Jean’s Red Velvet Cake recipe and it’s SO GOOD!
I plan on going to Caribou to get my free birthday drink on Wednesday and hopefully go out for lunch!
Life Lately
I had a few hours open last Saturday so decided to check out a few thrift stores that I’ve had good luck at in the past.
Well, as you can see, those same two stores did not fail me once again! I found my most favorite old things like an ironstone pitcher, restaurant ware plates, a beautiful round linen, a pair of gorgeous milk glass plates, AND a vintage wooden plant stand. Wahoo!!
Have you found anything neat at the thrift store lately?
The latest with Miss Molly is that she LOVES swinging!
She giggle and giggles…I just adore her.
Lastly, I will leave you with this sign that my mom took a photo of. It was hanging on the wall of a bakery that she recently went to.
It’s such a good reminder, isn’t it?!
