Journey Jots #23
Hello, guys!
Hope you are well. It was another busy week with work and life things!
Remember that impending snow storm I was telling you about last week?! Well, it came. It snowed, and rained, for 3 days straight. In total, we ended up with about 9 inches of snow and ice! So crazy.
Our Easter will feel more like Christmas this year…which is funny because Christmas felt more like Easter without any snow and Spring-like temps. Mother Nature has it all mixed up!
Life Lately
Let’s see.
Well, I’m happy to report that Sylvia, our Ficus tree that I was telling you about last week, is doing great! We fertilized her a few days ago and really greened up after that. I’m so proud of her 🙂
I also poured some candle orders! When all I want to see is green grass and flowers, the floral smells of these candles are giving me life.
You can order candles here!
Miss Molly is on the move! She’s crawling now and getting into everything.
She was being a good helper and helping her mama fold laundry the other day 🙂
It’s been too cold and snowy to take long nature hikes with Tilly so I don’t have any forest photos to share.
But, a client of my hubby’s gave him this Easter Lily and it’s almost fully in bloom! It’s so fun to notice the buds open up ever so slowly. I placed her by the window so it would get more sun and she’s thriving.
With that, I hope this lily brings you hope during this holy time. Easter is a very special holiday for me as it always reminds me of my Grandma Jean. Easter was her favorite celebration and, to this day, I can still hear her voice singing the hymn “Jesus Christ Has Risen Today”.
And, if you would go up to my grandpa and say “He is Risen!” He would always reply, in a booming voice, “Indeed, indeed.”
He is Risen, Indeed! Alleluia!
Happy Easter, friends. Wishing you love and joy, today and always. Thank you for being here!
