Journey Jots #43

Hello, guys! Welcome to another Jots and a brand new week!

How’s the weather where you are at? Has school started yet? Whatever you have going on, I hope it’s happy!

Life Lately

Well guys, it has been a very uneventful past few weeks. Hubby came down with a terrible cold and then, a few days later, I picked it up, too.

So, we honestly haven’t done much…summer head colds are the worst and are so hard to kick for some reason. As I’m typing this, I am feeling heaps better than I was three days ago but still have a very stuffy nose.

We did take Tilly on a few nice, slow walks. The weather last week was SO amazing…high’s barely over 60 and sunny. It felt like fall!

The sunflowers and corn at a park near us have grown like weeds this summer with all the rain!

One thing I did, however, was paint the wall behind the mirror in our master bathroom.

So, with Kleenex in one hand and a paintbrush in the other, I painted it green…the same color as the vanity below! Random thing to do with a crazy cold but I needed something to do. I LOVE how it turned out!

Finally, Tilly wanted me to say ‘thank you’ for sending her healing! She is feeling SO much better and is back to her normal spunky, funny self.
