Journey Jots #32
Hello, guys! Welcome to June!! Hope you are all doing well.
Another week has come and gone…gosh these days just fly by! How was your week? Did you do anything fun? Let me know in the comments!
It’s been very rainy and stormy here lately. But! We went into the Spring with a severe drought so all of this rain is really helping to fill up the lakes again.
The other evening, as we were sitting out on the patio, and big rainstorm came through, leaving behind this INCREDIBLE rainbow. There’s something so comforting about seeing a rainbow, ya know?!
I ran out to the street to snap a pic before it disappeared. The purple is usually hard to see but this one so vivid!
Life Lately
With the holiday last Monday, it was such a quick week!
I did some thrifting over the long weekend and found some really neat things. The thrift stores have been SO good lately…I hope this keeps up for a while!
We also spent some time with Molly! This sweet girl turned one this past Wednesday. She’s just the most loving, caring girl with the sweetest little spirit. I’m so grateful to be her Auntie.
Her birthday party was yesterday…I’ll have some fun photos from that to share in next week’s Jots!
Tilly always wants Molly to play with her dog toys…Tilly will bring her toy over to Molly and want her to grab it and play tug. It’s so cute!!
Finally, we took an evening bike ride last week and, as we were riding through the woods, there were a ton of deer in this field eating!
We stopped for a few minutes to watch…they just looked at us and kept right on eating. So neat!
