Journey Jots #64
Hello guys!
How are you? How was your week? Have you found anything neat while thrifting lately? I love hearing from you and learning what’s new in your world. Let me know in the comments!
Life Lately
We’ve been in a VERY COLD snap here in the North. This past week, we had windchill values near -30 at night!
So, we’ve been staying cozy with blankets by the fireplace. Tilly loves having fires! We introduced them to her when she was a tiny 3 month old puppy and just lives for them during the winter months.
There was one warmer day (thankfully) so we were able to go to our favorite walking spot out in the snowy woods.
It’s just gorgeous….I think winter is my favorite time to walk, especially in the woods! We saw huge eagles, tons of wildlife tracks in the snow, and cute little birdies flitting around.
And, miss Molly rounded out her week and a half with grandma and grandpa! She was such a good girl!
Since it was too cold to go outside, she had wagon rides inside the house 🙂 Such a happy time.

Closing Tidbits for Journey Jots #64
Thank you so much for being here and joining me! I love sharing a little bit of my daily life with you.
Have a lovely week ahead!
Mindful Living Tip of the Week: ‘What is happening now is preparing me for what’s to come. I choose to fully embrace it with love and grace.’
As we part today, may we all continue to send our love and peace to California. The destruction from the wildfires is just un-fathomable. I truly don’t have words and my heart just aches. Please pray for safety for all of the fire fighters and emergency responders risking their own lives to help.
If you can, I urge you to donate to causes to help those who have lost everything.
If you are new here, I’m Rachel, the writer and content creator here at The Antiqued Journey. I’m so happy to have you! I encourage you to stop by the ‘about me’ page to get to know me a little more.
Here on the blog, you will find loads of inspiration for decorating with vintage and antique decor, simple DIY crafts and many thrifting adventures. If that interests you, I invite you to sign up for my e-mail. You will receive a free digital download as a thank you!
