Journey Jots #57
Hello guys and happy Sunday!
How was your week? Are you ready for Thanksgiving? Have you found anything neat at the thrift store lately? Do you have any good news to share? I love to know what’s going on in your world so let me know in the comments.
Life Lately
It’s been a busy time around here! From preparing for Thanksgiving, putting the finishing touches on my Christmas decor, and tending to Tilly’s acid reflux flare up this past week have all kept me on my toes.
Tilly is feeling much better now but that’s not without an expensive trip to the vet. They did some bloodwork to see if there was anything unusual going on in her insides.
But, I was SO incredibly relieved when the vet called saying that her blood is ‘flawless’. Thank you, God, for taking care of my most special puppy.
I have put the final touches on my Christmas decor for this year! I’m super happy with how this new-to-me theme turned out and I can’t wait to share it all with you very soon!
Until then, here’s a sneak peek of the mantel.
And, it wouldn’t be a Jots without miss Molly!
She was waiting for grandma…how adorable is that?!
Weekly Shopping Finds- Favorite Budget Christmas Decor
- I recently purchased this Norfolk Pine garland and LOVE it. It looks SO real hanging across my mantel!
- I’m using this khaki colored ribbon all over my house for Christmas. It’s the perfect neutral color. This velvet green variety is also pretty.
- Eucalyptus is an under-rated Christmas greenery. I purchased this set of stems for my holiday decor and they are lovely!
- It’s rare that I purchase anything brand new but I fell in love with this small glass faceted Christmas tree as well as this velvet green one. They are both such good deals!
- Let’s talk ornaments. For vintage inspired ones that don’t cost a pretty penny, try this one, this one, or this one. I also love the look of these glittered pinecone ornaments!
- Green and white restaurant ware is one of my very favorite Christmas decorations. The colors are just perfect for the season! Try this set, these plates, or these mugs.
