Journey Jots #56
Hello guys and happy Sunday!
How was your week? Have you started decorating for Christmas yet? Have you found anything neat at the thrift store lately? Do you have any good news to share? I love to know what’s going on in your world so let me know in the comments.
Life Lately
We spent a lot of time outside this week! It’s not too cold yet and the air has been so crisp and refreshing. We’ve had a good amount of rain too so it’s been like, misty and foggy, making for super neat walking weather!
There has been a whole pack (is it a pack of swans? or a gaggle of swans?? If you know…let me know) on a lake near our house. Swans are so majestic! I must have stood for a good 10 minutes just watching them swim around. I think I counted 14 swans! So neat.
Other than that, I de-decked the fall decor the other day and am in full on Christmas decorating mode this week! I’m going with a very different look this year than year’s past and can’t wait to share it all with you!
Also, the toy that Tilly got for her birthday has been completely destroyed:) She’s not ashamed one bit!

On the Blog-Journey Jots #56
This past Thursday, I shared a brand new guide to thrifted holiday decorating. In it, you will find a plethora of tips on sourcing and styling thrifted decor as well as some of my favorite thrifted Christmas decor items. This was one of my most favorite posts I’ve ever written and I hope it’s helpful for you!
Since I have Christmas in my brain right now, this post all about decorating with ribbon for Christmas is another goody! Ribbon is the most under-rated decorative item when it comes to the holiday season. It can be found for super cheap and elevates anything from lamps to vases to doorknobs!
And, let us not forget about Thanksgiving! Even though it’s super late this year, it’s still an important holiday. So, in case you still need a few easy decorating tips for Thanksgiving, here are some thrifty ideas!
Coming Up on The Antiqued Journey
