Journey Jots #49
Hello, guys! Welcome to another Jots and a brand new week! I hope you are doing well. Can you believe that we are already entering October this week?! Gosh the fall season is going so fast!
What’s something good that’s happened in your life lately? I’d love to know in the comments!
Life Lately
The weather has finally started to cool down to more normal temps and it’s just gorgeous.
We’ve been able to resume taking Tilly on longer walks knowing that she won’t overheat! A few days ago, we drove to a trail near our house that meanders through the woods next to the Minnesota River. It’s so pretty in there…especially with all the leaves just starting to change colors!
Near said trail, there is a park that has a bunch of old homes from the 1800’s. There are chickens, cows, sheep, and pigs, too! Tilly loves to peek over the fence and smell the stinky animals 🙂
The flowers and plants are starting to die back for the year but these little daisies are still hanging on. I have to say… the wildflowers this summer and fall have put on quite the show with the abundance of them AND are the most vibrant colors I’ve ever seen!
Finally, miss Molly is just as cute as a button! She is really starting to get this walking thing down and wore her first pair of shoes ever this past week! She looked so adorable with fresh white sneakers on:)

Closing Tidbits for Journey Jots #49
Thank you so much for being here and joining me! I love sharing a little bit of my daily life with you.
Have a lovely week ahead!
Sustainable Living Tip of the Week: Pick one cupboard, drawer, or closet to go through and organize each week. Make a donation bag for unused items and, before you know it, you will have purged many unneeded things from your home. It’s so refreshing!
