Life Lately

It’s still been SO HOT here in the North…we just can’t seem to get out of the 80’s! I was texting with a friend the other night about the heat…we’re both so over it. One, because it’s September and isn’t supposed to be nearing 90 this late in the season and two, we both have new sweaters that we want to wear. Bring on sweater weather!

ANYWAYS!

We’ve still been enjoying nature with Tilly girl. She is on some new medication for her acid reflux and is responding really well to it, so fingers crossed it continues to help!

I also treated myself to a few new fall finds from Target the other day.

Years ago, when we went on a pilgrimage to Magnolia in Waco, I purchased a set of long-handled, skinny wooden tasting spoons from the shop. They have been THE BEST spoons for so many things in the kitchen. And, sadly, we are down to one. I’ve been on the hunt for a set to replace them but haven’t found any that I’ve liked until now!

The set of 4 copper tasting spoons are from the Hearth and Hand line and think they will be the perfect replacement for the dwindling wooden ones. Is it ironic that these spoons happen to be from the brain of the Magnolia brand?! I think not!

While I was at it, I just had to get a new kitchen towel, too 🙂 The dish soap is a scent that I’ve not tried before, usually I get the apple cider version, but this fall leaves scent smells SO good.

I’ll link everything below for you in case you are interested in these, too!

And, finally, our uncle who lives in Florida recently captured this sunset on the beach. I thought it was just stunning and wanted to share it with you! We are hoping to get back to Florida this winter and I can’t wait 🙂
