Journey Jots #36
Hello, guys! Welcome to another Jots and a brand new week!
How are you? Are you settling into Summer??
It’s FINALLY stopped raining here this past week and we’ve had the most GLORIOUS weather! I know there is just some crazy weather events happening all over the US, so I hope you are safe and well wherever you happen to be.
Life Lately
We’ve been taking advantage of the beautiful Summer weather as much as possible.
Last weekend, we spent 6 hours on our paddle boards fishing a few lakes for Largemouth bass. After about 3 hours, I finally hooked into a big one and BOY was it fun!
I’m more of a river fly fishing gal but lakes are also super fun, especially in June when the big bass are on the prowl for food!
Even though I applied SPF 60 TWICE, the tops of my legs still got so sunburned…oh well! I definitely got my vitamin D in.
Since 4th of July is just around the corner, I’ve been adding a few patriotic touches around the house to commemorate the holiday. You will see a new patriotic post on the blog this Wednesday!
Lastly, miss Molly is definitely getting a little personality on her. She’s spunky, funny, and isn’t afraid to tell you what she wants 🙂
