Journey Jots #68
Hello, guys!
How are you? How was your week? Do have any fun plans coming up? Have you found anything neat thrifting lately?
I love hearing from you and learning what’s new in your world. Let me know in the comments!
Life Lately
You guys! I did it! I After two months, I finally finished my paint by number!!
Here it is, all framed and matted. Doesn’t it look so pretty? I’m so proud of it!
It was for sure quite the task but I totally enjoyed myself. Filling in little tiny numbers really makes one slow down. I’ll definitely be doing another one next winter!
Last weekend, we took a drive to my sister’s house for dinner. Tilly has the most pitiful faces when going on car rides…here she is in her hoodie 🙂
The main reason we went over there was to give Molly her Valentine’s Day gift!
I found the cutest pink bear, and a book, for her. She loved the bear and wanted to take it for a ride in her wagon.
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen the newest antique furniture piece to my collection!
This is my curved cabinet, an early birthday present! I’ve been looking for one of these for at least 6 months. They are SO expensive and hard to come by. So, I just kept the faith and checked FB marketplace regularly to see if any came up for sale in my area.
Well, as luck would have it, I happened to check a half hour after the listing was posted in a town only 20 minutes from my house for just $30!!!! I couldn’t believe it. I messaged the gal right away and told her I wanted it.
We picked it up the next day and here she is in all her beautiful glory. I’m beyond excited to be the new owner of this gorgeous piece!
Finally, as always, I’ll leave you with miss Molly. My sister bought her some cookies at the grocery store and Molly was SUPER excited because she usually doesn’t get many treats 🙂
She brings joy to our family everyday and I hope she brings a smile to your face, as well.
