Journey Jots #65
Hello, guys!
How are you? How was your week? Have you found a rhythm or nice, sturdy schedule going in to this new year? I love hearing from you and learning what’s new in your world. Let me know in the comments!
Life Lately
You GUYS! It was THE COLDEST week here…we’re still thawing out from having temperatures reach -39 overnight last week!!
My poor Tilly girl couldn’t go for a walk for 4 days due to the dangerous windchill and BOY was she sad about it.
We spent a lot of time in blankets and in front of the fireplace.
On Saturday, I helped host a bridal shower!
It was so fun to put together a bunch of floral arrangements, especially during this cold snap. Picking out fresh flowers was so heavenly and smelled amazing. It really makes me yearn for spring!
Molly has recently gotten into playing with babies!
This play highchair, as well as the baby dolls, belonged to my sister when she was little. The highchair was actually a Christmas gift from my grandma Jean to my sister at a young age.
Now Molly gets to play with it and learn as she goes. I just think that’s the sweetest thing!
Weekly Shopping Finds- Things I’m Loving Right Now
- I purchased these faux tea lights for the bridal shower and they are SO pretty! Now, I can use them in my decorating, too 🙂
- This set of fabric hearts is ADORABLE! I am going to use them in my hutch for V-Day but there a million uses for these vintage looking hearts!
- These wooden scoops are so perfect for kitchen use! I put one in my flour canister and the other in the sugar canister.
- These ginger lozenges are SO helpful for upset stomachs or other digestive issues. They contain clean ingredients and taste SO good!
- I adore the look of eucalyptus stems all times of the year. This set of three stems looks so lovely in a vase or jug!
- This pink velvet ribbon is so pretty for simple Valentines decor or the upcoming spring.
- I use this apple cider vinegar rinse on my hair once a week. It’s a super lovely toner and really smooths it all out, especially if your hair is dry! It also smells heavenly.
