Journey Jots #39

Hello, guys! Welcome to another Jots and a brand new week!

Hope you are well. How was your week?! Did you do anything fun?? I’d love to hear what you’ve been up to in the comments!

Life Lately

Last weekend, we spent the day at the river. It was a super hot day with the heat index in the upper 90’s so, needless to say, the water felt amazing. The bird life was spectacular, there were butterflies everywhere, and the sound of the water running was just incredible.

If I could describe river fishing in one word, I would say sheer bliss. It’s the most relaxing and peaceful activity in the world and, for me, as an HSP, is a much needed hobby for re-charging.

It’s a bonus when I can figure out what the trout are eating and get one to eat!

Do you have a hobby that relaxes you? I would love to hear what you enjoy doing!

We also rode the bikes to a really neat Japanese garden near our house. This is also a super relaxing place to go, sit, and just listen. The red bridge is SO cool!

Tilly wanted to say hi, too 🙂 She’s really been enjoying all of the summer sunshine!
