Journey Jots #73
Hello, guys! Happy Spring! We’ve MADE it out of Winter at long last!
How are you? How was your week? How’s the weather where you are? Do you have anything fun planned for Spring?
I love hearing from you and learning what’s new in your world. Let me know in the comments!
Life Lately
We’ve been enjoying slightly warmer weather here in the tundra…this time of year, it feels like one day Spring is here and the next day it goes back to being Winter. Does that happen where you live, too?!
In any case, Tilly is loving the fact there is grass to roll around in again!
Nature walks are one of our favorite family pastimes and this day was particularly beautiful. Just look at that blue-bird sky!
And, you guys…this is the most exciting thing of the week…Keith Urban is coming here on tour once again!!! Keith concerts are absolutely amazing. He shreds the guitar like no one else!
Hubby got me tickets for my birthday, which is next month! Though the concert isn’t until September, it’s something so fun to look forward to.
Who is your favorite artist or band to see in concert??
Weekly Shopping Finds- Spring Things I’m Loving Lately

- This Spring wreath is just stunning.
- You guys love milk glass! This milk glass tumbler has so many uses as does this pretty vase!
- How pretty is this pressed botanical flower art?!
- These wooden Easter eggs are perfect for a shelf display, table setting, or anything in between!
On the Blog-Journey Jots #73
This past week, I shared a brand new post encompassing 5 years of thrifting with 21 top thrifting posts! In this ultimate thrifting guide, I covered it all from basics, home decor, thrifting for the seasons, and more! This is a must read if you are thrifting obsessed like I am.
It’s the first day of Spring as I’m typing this, so naturally we all have Spring decorating on the brain! Here, I share my milk glass collection styled on the mantel for Spring. Hopefully this will give some ideas of how to incorporate a collection of items in a curated mantle display.
And, finally, if you are looking for an easy, grown-up, and chic home decor craft for Easter, I’ve got you! Using materials from the dollar store, you can craft a colorful Easter tree using an old tin, a stem, and some Easter eggs.
